Crusaders U20's bowed out of the McCombs Intermediate Cup at the first stage on Saturday when they where beaten by Mossley FC 3-0 at the Mossley Recreation Ground. The U20's went 1-0 down in the first few minutes and it got worse as the half ended 2-0. A third goal in the first five minutes of the second half killed the game and with no response they will go no further in the competition.
The U18's lost their first game of the season when they went down 4-3 to Dungannon Swifts U18's at Seaview on Friday night. They went 1-0 down after 13 minutes before going in level at the break 1-1 through Ambrose Ajala. The lads then raced into a 3-1 lead in the second half with goals from Cole McEnlea and Ryan Donnelly in the opening three minutes but Dungannon Swifts U18's came back in a 24 minute spell with goals including a 80th minute winner that gutted the home side.
The U16's enjoyed a 4-0 victory early on Saturday morning at Stangmore Park against Dungannon Swifts U16's. One up at halftime with a goal from Curtis McKeown they then opened up in the second half with further goals from Emmanuel Alfred, Joel Barr and Calum Simmons the young side where on top throughout the game. They sit in fourth place after four games.
