On behalf of the players and management of Crusaders we would like to thank every supporter who made the trip to Wales to support the team against Caernarfon Town on Thursday.
Even though it wasn't the result we hoped for (remember it is only half time though) you where a credit to the club from the moment we left Seaview on Wednesday morning to our return on Friday afternoon. Also to those who made their way to the game independent of the club trip we would like to thank you for your efforts to get to the game. Your backing during the game was immense and you brought colour and noise to the occasion.
We made a lot of new friends in Caernarfon on Wednesday and Thursday as we enjoyed the hospitality in the bars and cafes in the surrounding streets of Caerfarnon Castle and it was nothing but positive feed back as the locals embraced our short stay in the town. Everyone of us where greeted with a smile as we relaxed pre and post match and left with a handshake and hug.
A massive thank you to everyone in Caerfarnon and Bangor who made our stay a positive one and our supporters cannot wait to show a Shore Road welcome when they come to the game next Wednesday. Football off the pitch on many occasions is given bad press but this trip was definitely a success for football families from two different countries.
