It was great too see Crusaders legend Roddy Collins back at Seaview today where he was the main guest at a Q&A before the Newry City game.
The hospitality lounge in the McDonald Centre was full as Roddy took centre stage after lunch when Stephen Looney was the compere asking him about his colourful time at Crusaders. The audience. who also included ex team mates Kirk Hunter, Sid Burrows, Michael Cash and Davy Mallon, where left doubled over in two at the stories Roddy told and they left to go into the game entertained.
Before the game Roddy was introduced to the Crusaders faithful by Chairman Ronnie Millar and again the crowd appreciated his appearance.
Roddy has a book out about his life called “The Rodfather” and it is well worth looking online to purchase a great read.
