Reserves Win Convincingly

26th Aug 2024

It was cold damp Seaview this evening but it didn't stop Crusaders Reserves run away with a four goal win over Ballymena Utd Reserves,

Crusader Reserves started brightly and Karter Bond had a goal cleared from the line but on the half hour he did score beating the keeper at the second attempt when Colby Davidson had saved his first shot. It was 2-0 just four minutes later when Harry Jewitt-White nipped to the near post and clipped the ball for Crusaders Reserves second.

Th esecond half was all Crusaders Reserves and three minutes into the second half Karter Bond popped up for his second and Crusaders third. In a good move Mal Smith intercepted a pass and stroked it to Harry Jewitt-White who in turn laid a great ball through to Karter who made no mistake. On the whistle in was 4-0 to Crusaders Reserves when Stewart Nixon slotted home a penalty having been initially fouled and he made ni mistake.

There was nothing after the restart and on the whistle it was good job done and Crusaders Reserves unbeaten. Well done everyone.
