There was nothing low key about the last North Belfast Derby of the season as Cliftonville and Crusaders played in a 3-3 draw that was as good a game as we have possibly seen between the sides.
Crusaders got off to the best possible start when Paul Heatley scored after 34 seconds and as both sides traded blows it was Johnny Tuffey in the Crusaders goal who kept Crusaders in the lead at half time with several good stops.
The second half exploded with three goals in the opening minutes when Rory Hale equalised before Ronan Hale put Cliftonville ahead. Jarlath O'Rourke then produced a worldly to get Crusaders back on equal terms and the two sides went at it again. Cliftonville took the lead when Joe Gormley curled one in and as Cliftonville fans started to celebrate a win Paul Heatley popped up deep in time added on to earn Crusaders a point.
