"Mini" North Belfast Derby Ends In Draw At Solitude

2nd Sep 2024

It was a powerful comeback by Crusaders Reserves tonight at Solitude when they pulled a 2-0 goal decifit back at half time and finished the game 2-2 to remain unbetaen so far in this seasons Premiership development League.

It was goalless after 30 minutes but Cliftonville Olympic pushed on a scored a quick fire double when Emmett Morrison and Shay Reid scored on 34 minutes and 38 minutes respectively. Crusaders Reserves couldn't respond and went in 2-0 on the whistle but what ever was said in the dressing room worked and the “in form” Karter Bond pulled a goal back on 55 minutes  and when Cole McElnea got the equaliser on 66 minutes it was game on. Both sides did have a go but neither could edge ahead and on the whistle it was honours even and nothing coulf seperate them.

Well played lads.
