It's back to Sports Direct Premiership action on Friday night as Crusaders go to Inver Park to play Larne. Both sides have made good starts to the season and with big wins in the League Cup during the week it has the makings of another cracking game between the sides.
Stephen Baxter will ring the changes from Tuesday nights 5-0 win at Warrenpoint Town.. Ben Kennedy will almost certainly play after scoring his second hat trick of the season against Warrenpoint Town and we should see several of the rested players return to the starting XI although a selection headache could happen if the management team think someone deserves another chance after their performanace against Warrenpoint Town. It is a massive game even though it is early in the season but it will show where the team are in terms of a challenge for the title and this will be noted as they leave the dressing room.
Larne are the current Premiership Champions and they know that leaves a massive cross on their backs for teams as an incentive to beat. Loughgall did just that last week but they bounced back by beating Glenavon on Saturday. Tieran Lynchs side have quality throughout the side and the main players to watch are Lee Bonis, Andy Ryan and Paul O'Neill who are a force up front. They will know they are in for a fight and the last time the sides met was in the Charity Shield game that Crusaders won.
The team have enjoyed your support this season and Friday night is no different. Deck yourself out in Red and Black and come to the game and bring your voice as well. Tickets can be bought at www.larnefc.com so don't delay and we will see you there.
Keep the Faith. C'mon the Crues.
