Before Saturdays game Loughgall Football Club made a superb gesture and presented Crusaders manager Stephen Baxter with a lovely piece of crystal to mark his time at Crusaders and the imminent stepping down as manager.
It was presented by 100 year old Loughgall supporter Herbert Willis before the game and we would like to thank everyone at Loughgall Football Club for such a thoughtful gift and presentation to Stephen. It shows very clearly that we are a football family in this country and while we are competitive on the pitch friendships are strong off it.
Crusaders also presented Herbert with their own 125th Anniversary Whiskey to celebrate his 100th birthday that took place lately and we wish Herbert all the best in his 101st year and beyond.
