It's a trip to the National Stadium at Windsor Park for Crusaders on Tuesday night (7.45pm) in a rearranged game postponed originally because of International call ups. It's a massive game for the team but they will not shy away. Linfield currently sit top of the Sports Direct Premiership but a Crusaders win could put them top if other results go their way.
Stephen Baxter shuffled the pack in Saturdays win against Glenavon and the fresh legs seemed to work with Crusaders winning 2-0. We wait too see if the same XI start against Linfield but Ben Kennedy and Rory McKeown may start and Jude Winchester could come back in after being rested. Crusaders will want to keep the good form going and apart from the “derby” defeat they have shown they are up for the battle this season. The management team will have the homework done and the plan set to bring three points back to Seaview.
David Healy knows a defeat will see his side lose top spot and he will be out to stop that happening. A 2-0 on Saturday against Loughgall kept his side top. Players to watch out for are Jack Scott, who scored the two goals on Saturday, Joel Cooper and Matthew Clarke.
We always need and want your support and Tuesday night is another chance to follow your team. Your noise and encouragement keep the lads going so go now to and buy that all important ticket. Let's get out in numbers and get right behind Stephen and the team.
C'mon the Crues.
