It was late drama at Seaview on Friday night as a goal in the 93rd minute saw Crusaders beaten 2-1 by Linfield in a game they didn't deserve to loose.
Linfield did have the lions share of the game in the first half and went in one up after a Joel Cooper shot was deflected past Johnny Tuffey off Robbie Weir. Crusaders could have gone in all square but a touch from Ben Kennedy went just wide. Crusaders too the game to Linfield in the second half and got back on level terms when Jordan Owens headed home in typical fashion from a great Jordan Forsythe cross. Ben Kennedy and Daniel Larmour went close to putting Crusaders ahead but Crusaders where hit a sucker punch with seconds remaining when Daniel Finlayson headed into the net despite the best efforts of Robbie Weir trying to stop it. 2-1 in the end but a scoreline that did not reflect the effort put in by a determined Crusaders side.
