The first silverware of the season is up for grabs on Saturday when Larne, as Premiership Champions, and Crusaders, as Irish Cup Champions, meet at Inver Park to play for the White Ribbon NI Charity Shield (3pm)
It has been played earlier than usual to help both clubs prepare for European competition but both teams will go all out to take the Shield back to the trophy cabinet and have bragging rights before the new season starts.
Larne and Crusaders will obviously use a mixture of new signings and the old guard so it will be hard to predict who will start the game but it will still still be competitive and nothing given by both sides.
