Jordan Owens chalked up another honour on his Crusaders wish list when he scored Crusaders third goal against Glenavon on Saturday. The legend scored his 250th goal for the club in 679 appearances and it was magical moment for the big man as he celebrated his goal in front of the travelling support.
The ratio works out at a goal every 2.716 games for the big striker and it is some return for a man who made his debut back in 2007 and since then became the machine he is. “Big Chicken” as he is better known at Seaview has scored some very important goals and some smashers also but no matter how they go in he celebrates them all and the fans join him. He broke the goal scoring record back in 2016 when he surpassed Glenn Hunters 157 goals before breaking the 200 goal barrier in 2018 before getting to 250 in this game.
Well done Jordan on getting your 250th goal for Crusaders and hopefully you can add a few more before the end of the season.
