Crusaders Football Club are pleased and excited to announce that striker Jay Boyd has penned a three year deal for the Club this evening (Thursday) after training.
The young striker, who was 21 a few weeks ago, has risen through the ranks and really came to the attention of everyone when he scored 30 goals for the Under 20's last season while getting a few games for the senior side also before scoring his first senior goal in the final game of last season against Glentoran. To date Jay has played for Crusaders seven times in total and was also on the bench for three of the four European games at the beginning of this season as well. Jay then went out on loan to fellow Sports Direct Premiership side Loughgall to get some first team experience and he played 20 times scoring 6 goals before returning to Seaview.
Congratulations Jay on a signing the contract and we can now look forward to seeing you develop and go from strength to strength in Red and Black.
