Crusaders Football Club are delighted to announce a new and unique sponsorship deal that will change how you tell people where you are going to watch Crusaders on match days at home.
We can now exclusively reveal that Seaview Stadium will be rebranded as “M2VIEW Stadium” with immediate effect in a 10 year deal with a new government office called DAFTY. This office deals mainly with tourism and there is no better route out and in of Belfast than the iconic M2 Motorway behind the Rite Price Stand heading to the beautiful North Coast and beyond.
General Manager Bernard Thompson is delighted to get the deal over the line as are Tourism Chiefs and as part of the deal they will move into an office suite that is part of our new South Stand plans when built. “We are very pleased with the new name of what was Seaview” said Bernard. “When thinking of what the ground could be renamed to we could see the M2 from where we where talking and it was suggested that because the sea no longer comes to the back wall of the ground like it did 100 years ago (and why the name Seaview was given back then) we should maybe call the ground M2VIEW as it will modernise and bring the ground name up to the present day”
“We knew we where on to a great name right away and we are so pleased to show in an image of what the front of the ground will look like once we begin to build the new stand. We hope everyone gets behind the new name for the Stadium and will use it every time they say they are going to a game in the future”
So there you have it and do not forget we will play Larne on Saturday at M2VIEW Stadium and we hope too see you at the ground in your numbers getting behind the team.
