Crusaders get a break from Premiership action this Tuesday night when they play in the TOALSBet.com Co.Antrim Shield against Linfield at Seaview (7.45pm)
It will be the first meeting of the sides this season and it is as expected going to be a cracker. Stephen Baxter will likely give some of the squad a chance to shine who have been on the bench of late so expect Aidan Steele, Adam Lecky and a few others get game time from the start. Also expected to get thrown in is new loan signing Mccauley Snelgrove and no better game to make his debut if selected.. Crusaders drew 1-1 in the Premiership on Friday and will want to get back to winning ways quickly ahead of another big game on Saturday. This is a cup competition though that Crusaders have played well in over the years and will certainly see it as a possible chance to win silverware. Linfield have shrugged off their European exit with a 4-0 win over Ballymena United on Saturday but David Healy will push his side on again for another win. He may also choose to rest key players and use his s quad and we will wait to see what starting XI's take the field
Crusaders and Linfield met last season with Crusaders winning one and Linfield three
