We are at home on Friday night in this weeks Sports Direct Premiership game and second placed Larne are the visitors to Seaview (7.45pm) It is a big game that Crusaders are looking to win to stay in touch at the top of the table and Larne know a win will see them back to the top for at least 17 hours before Linfield play again.
Crusaders won 1-0 last week in a battle against Carrick Rangers to earn a hard fought win but it is now a case of looking forward and getting on with beating Larne. With injuries hurting, Crusaders will probably field the same side that played against Carrick Rangers unless things change. We may see Adam Lecky start this one with Jordan Owens dropping to the bench and we wait to see if Ross Clarke makes it back after injury. Outside of that the picks are limited but Stephen will make sure the team is ready to go into battle with the defending champions.
Larne are on a run in the Premiership but know coming to Seaview is always a big challenge. They are strong all across the pitch but Crusaders will be ready for what lies ahead. It was a draw the last time the sides met at Inver Park but Tieran Lynch will look for maximum points to go back on top of the table and put pressure on Linfield. Lee Bonis, Paul O'Neill and Andy Ryan are all goal threats while at the back Crusaders will need to beat Rohan Ferguson in goals to get the win.
As always the we have the “war cry” and are looking your support for this game. You have been behind us all season and it is appreciated by everyone in the dressing room. Tickets can be bought at www.crusadersfc.com or in Harry D's up to 6pm on Friday night. They will then go back on sale at the ticket office inside the McDonald Centre from 6.30 to kick off. Let's get out in numbers and get behiond Stephen and the team and make it an intimidating atmosphere for Larne to play in. See you there. Keep the Faith. C'mon the Crues.
