It is back to Sports Direct Premiership action for Crusaders on Saturday and Glenavon are the opponents at Seaview (3pm) for the latest game. Crusaders sit second in the table unbeaten and they have set the standard that they hope to take into this important game. Glenavon have had a slow start to the season and although in the bottom half of the table will still be formidable opponents and will be taken very seriously as all teams are.
Crusaders have welcomed back Jimmy Callacher from long term injury after he played a few minutes against Knockbreda and a full 45 minutes for the Reserves last Monday night so he may get a place on the bench. Also back are Ross Clarke and Stewart Nixon and a Billy Vance hat trick for the Rerserves on Monday past will leave Declan Caddell with a nice headache of picking the best XI to start. The team have had an excellent week and more in training and want to show it in a competitive game once again. Kieran Offord has scored four in four Premiership games and will be keen for more while Harry Franklin got off the mark against Knockbreda after his selfless play in the previous weeks.
Glenavon will be looking to kickstart their season after only one win in the six games and Stephen McDonnell will rally his troops and get them motivated. A win against Coleraine and a draw against Loughgall have been where the points have been gained so far. The way they fought back against Loughgall will have pleased the manager and he will want to build on that. If selected Crusaders will come up against ex Crusaders player Matthew Snoddy.
So all set for another big day at Seaview and we want you with us. The team enjoy and are motivated by your support so come to the game and get behind them once again. Tickets are available at www.crusadersfc.com or in Harry D's during opening hours. Alternatively on match day you can buy from the Ticket Office inside the McDonald Centre from 1.30pm to kick off.
If will be great to see and make sure you wear the famous red & black. C'mon the Crues.
