Crusaders v Glenavon. Danske Bank Premiership 15th October

14th Oct 2022

We are back at Seaview on Saturday in the Danske Bank Premiership and Glenavon are the opposition (3pm)

After a good performance and the width of the post denying us three points in the North Belfast Derby last Friday night against Cliftonville the team are ready to go again and three points are a must to stay in touch at the top. The team performance last time out suggests that it may not be changed if all are fit but we can only wait and see if that is the case. Ben Kennedy, Josh Robinson and Brandon Doyle continue to be long term lay offs and Paul Heatley misses through suspension but everyone else is available. Gary Hamiltons side will come to Seaview with mixed emotions after winning 5-0 last week in the Premiership last week before losing 5-4 after extra time during the week to Championship side Loughgall but their focus will be on climbing the table from eighth so Crusaders will need to be aware of the threat. Glenavon will be missing several key players for the game but it does give others the chance.

Crusaders and Glenavon met 4 times last tear Crusaders winning one, Glenavon twice and the other a draw.
