Dungannon Swifts return to Seaview for the second time in four days only this time in the League Cup as Crusaders look to reach their second Semi Final of the season (7.45pm)Stalemate on Saturday past in the Premiership at 2-2 gave little away as to who could dominate this game and progress but their has to be a winner on the night and if both sides are able to reproduce the entertaining game they had on Saturday supporters are in for another treat.
Jarlath O'Rourke returns for selection after suspension and this will mean a reshuffle at the back if started. Philip Lowry will continue to be assessed and may make the bench but apart from these two it will be something the same again. Manager Declan Caddell was unhappy with his sides first half performance and let them know exactly that at half time before they produced a great second half and scored twice to get the draw. Jordan Stewart and Ross Clarke again where superb on the wings while Kieran Offord worked hard to unsettle the Swifts defence resulting in the equaliser. The team will be told another first half performanace like Saturday will not be tolerated and they will surely respond and not be in a similiar position again this game.
Dungannon Swifts could also remain unchanged and Rodney McAree will be looking the opposite of Declan and will be wanting to get his team playing the second half like their first on Saturday. They left Seaview wondering how they lost a two goal lead and they will have to work hard to get it out of their system and Crusaders could capitalise on that. Dungannon Swifts felt they had done enough to win the game after it went to 2-2 but many thought differently around Seaview and Crusaders will need to aware that the visitors will arrive to go for it again. The returning Tomas Galvin was the danger man on Saturday and will be that again if selected but Andrew Mitchell could be key and Crusaders defence will want to be on top form.
