Crusaders v Coleraine. Danske Bank Premiership. 18th February

17th Feb 2023

It's another important game at Seaview on Saturday (3pm) when Crusaders and Coleraine meet in a massive game for both sides in the push to stay in touch with the top of the Danske Bank Premiership table. Only a point divides the sides and a draw on Tuesday night for Crusaders and a win for Coleraine saw the visiting side leapfrog Crusaders.

Stephen Baxter will take the many positives from Tuesdays draw at Glenavon and with a few tweaks send the lads back out to do it all again. Daniel Larmour, Jordan Owens, Chris Hegarty and Jarlath O'Rourke could come back into the squad for this game after missing last time out so changes may be made with players dropping to the bench and others starting. The importance of this game will not go unnoticed and a positive eleven will be sent out and will give it everything they have.

Oran Kearney side are in good form also and three wins and two draws have pushed them up the table to fourth place. They are strong across the park and last Saturdays late draw with Glentoran followed by Tuesday nights narrow win shows they are getting points by any means necessary and that is a threat. The player to watch is Matthew Shevlin who is great foem in front of goal and of course we could come up against ex Crusaders players Rodney Brown and Jamie Glackin.

Crusaders and Coleraine have met twice this season with Coleraine winning both
