Crusaders are next in action on Tuesday evening when Coleraine come to Seaview in the Danske Bank Premiership as the season begins to draw to a close. With plenty still to play for both sides will be out to win and after both drawing on Friday night they will look to get maximum points from this one.
Crusaders out played Linfield on Friday night and Stephen Baxter will be looking for more of the same against Coleraine. He may of course make a few changes with the Cup Final fast approaching so we may see him use the squad depth. Players with niggles etc may be rested or put on the bench but the commitment will still be there and the team selected will give it everything. We could see for example Jordan Forsythe rested and Ross Clarke starting and maybe Chris Hegarty getting a start in the centre of defence with Daniel Larmour or Josh Robinson rested. Only the management team know and we wait too see the team news 75 minutes before kick off.
Oran Kearney will feel his side did enough against Cliftonville to win the game on Friday night but a late goal against left them with a point. He will also ask for more of the same as he saw his side play some good football and he will also know a win will pull them closer to Crusaders in the table. Players to keep a close eye on include Matthew Shevlin, Conor McDermott and Stephen O'Donnell but Crusaders will have a plan to stop them.
Crusaders and Coleraine have met three times this season with Crusaders winning two and Coleraine one
08/11/22 Coleraine 1 Crusaders 2
09/12/22 Coleraine 2 Crusaders 0
18/02/23 Crusaders 2 Coleraine 0
