Crusaders v Ballymena Utd. Danske Bank Premiership

22nd Sep 2022

Crusaders are back in action in the Danske Bank Premiership on Friday night at Seaview (7.45pm) and Ballymena Utd are the visitors. Crusaders go into the game on the back of a fantastic 2-1 victory over Linfield last week and of course will be looking to build on that. Everyone is again available bar Ben Kennedy and Brandon Doyle with Rory McKeown and Dean Ebbe fit again and they will join the squad. Manager Stephen Baxter will have been extremely pleased especially with the second half display but that game will now be parked and Ballymena Utd will be a different game completey. Ballymena Utd are struggling at the minute in the Premiership but that will not mean a thing as David Jeffrey prepares his side for Friday nights fixture. They will feel there will be a time that will change for them and Crusaders will need to ready if Ballymena do click. There are several ex Crusaders players in the visiting squad and they will know how Crusaders prepare and will use this as prep before kick off.

Crusaders and Ballymena Utd met four time including the drama of the Irish Cup Final with Crusaders winning three and Ballymena Utd twice
