Crusaders U18's bowed out of the Junior Shield on Saturday afternoon after a 3-0 defeat to Portaferry Rovers II's at Anne Street Playing Fields.
Going in 1-0 down at half time with a goal scored seven minutes before the break the Under 18's came out the second half to fight back but despite their best efforts two goals in the final fifteen minutes saw the them exit the competition at the second round stage.
They team and management will learn from games like this and will turn their attention back to League action this Saturday.
