Crusaders Reserves successfully made it through to the next round of the McCombs Coach Travel Intermediate Cup on Saturday when they defeated Barn Utd 3-1 at Haslett Park.
The game was all but over in the first half when Crusaders Reserves stormed to a 3-0 lead. Aureli Karrabecaj opened the scoring after 5 minutes when he reacted first to the ball after it came off the post to put Crusaders Reserves ahead. They dominated the half and went further ahead just after the half hour when Ben Harrison scored from distance and finished strongly with Karter Bond finishing off a good move three minutes before the whistle.
The second half continued in much the same vein wuth Crusaders Reserves controlling the game. They couldn't add to their tally but Barn Utd pulled a late goal back on 84 minutes but with nothing further of note Crusaders Reserves made it through to the next round.
