On Saturday Crusaders Reserves progressed to the next round of the McCombs Coach Travel Intermediate Cup when they defeated Craigavon City 5-4 on penalties after it ended 1-1 after 90 minutes and extra time.
Craigavon City took the lead in time added on in the first half but Crusaders Reserves pulled the game level on 65 minutes when Karther Bond equalised. Neither side could score again in the 90 minutes and throughout extra time they still could not be seperated so it went to penalties. It was a tense few minutes as each side stepped up but it was Crusaders who came out with the win after they won the shootout 5-4.
Well done all and we will let you know who they play in the next round.
