It was another good Monday night for Crusaders Reserves at Seaview last night when they ran out 5-0 winners against Loughgall Reserves.
The game was only 3 minutes old when “in form” Aureli Karrabecaj opened the scoring for the home side and the tone of the match was set. Crusaders Reserves kept turning the screw and they went further ahead on 22 minutes when Bradley Maguire doubled the Reserves lead at the near post. He wasn't finished in the first half and got his second and his sides third of the night after 33 minutes when he finished well from the edge of the box after Loughgall Reserves could not clear.
The second half was much the same pattern but they had to wait until the 78th minute to see the goal of the night. Ryan Donnelly hit an amazing effort into the top corner and everyone in the ground could only watch in awe at the goal. Crusaders Reserves where not finished and Aureli Karrabecaj got his second of the night with a few minutes to go to leave Crusaders Reserves with a 5-0 win on the whistle.
With second placed Linfield Swifts defeated 6-1 by Coleraine Reserves Crusaders Reserves moved six points clear in the Premeiership Development League and with such great performances manager Stephen McFerran will be very pleased where they are at this early stage of the season.
