It was a loss by a single goal for Crusaders Reserves last night at Seaview against Larne Olympic in a game that was an enetertaining affair with both keepers up for the game with great saves.
Larne Olympic with two first team players playing had a fair slice of the first half but Rian Brown was up to keeping them at bay while the young Crusaders Reserves sometimes could have had some composure when shooting wasting several chances. The second half saw Larne Olympic keeper Daniel Collett up to the task saving on numerous occasions including a great stop from a close range shot. The difference was Ambrose Anjala on 56 minutes when he put the ball past Scott Mashal, who replaced Rian Brown at half time, from just inside the box. Crusaders Reserves fought to the end but could not get the equaliser.
Crusaders stay in second place in the Development League and next up are Carrick Rangers Reserves next Monday night at Seaview (8pm)
