Crusaders are on the road on Saturday when they head off to Crumlin to play Crumlin United at Tom McPeake Park, Mill Road. It is the latest pre season game as the build up to the start of the season gets closer.
Declan Caddell will possibly bring players that sat out Tuesday nights win against Knockbreda as he puts valuable match fitness into the legs of the squad. We could see Jonny Tuffey, Ross Clarke and Jarlath O'Rourke getting game time in this one and several of the young players who have moved up into the first team squad also getting minutes on the pitch.
Crumlin United play in the Premier Division of the Northern Amateur Football League in the village of Crumlin close to the International Airport. A forward thinkind side they have lined up some big friendlies ahead of the seasons kick off and Crusaders finish their pre season with this game.
To get to the ground if you head into Crumlin from Nutts Corner roundabout turn right down the lane immediately before the GO garage on the right hand side just before the Main Street. We hope to see you later at the game getting behind Declan and the team.
