Crusaders had another solid performance in their latest pre season friendly when they defeated Ards 3-0 at Seaview.
Jordan Owens opened the scoring on 14 minutes when he volleyed home inside the box after Ross Clarkes original shot was blocked but it they had to wait until the second half before scoring again. Daniel Larmour made it 2-0 when he rose to meet a corner with his head and it flew by Neil Shields in the Ards goal. Crusaders got a third and it was finished well by Philip Lowry and a neat build up with a minute of the game remaining and on the whistle Crusaders had won 3-0.
One other important piece to note was the debut of Ryan Kerr in the Crusaders goal when he replaced Johnny Tuffey in nets for the last 10 minutes of the game.
