Crusaders notched up another win in their pre season progress with a 2-0 victory over Knockbreda at Breda Park.
Declan Caddells side had a good mix of old and new and they where rewarded for a solid start when they forced Knockbreda into a OG from a corner. As the team clocked up vital minutes on the pitch that will get them “match sharp” for the big kick off in a few weeks Crusaders where dominant with Lewis Barr and Jordan Stewart very busy.. The second half saw a few changes and it was one of the subs Karter Bond who finished well to put Crusaders 2-0 ahead as Crusaders once again controlled how the play was dictated. The closest they came to making it 3-0 was a Jay Boyd effort that went inches past the post. With light fading fast the referee blew for full time and a final score of Knockbreda 0 Crusaders 2.
