Crusaders today came away from Mourneview Park with a magnificent 1-0 win against a Glenavon team who where on a great run.
Crusaders soaked up a lot of pressure in the first half and the terrific defensive display was rewared when Daniel Larmour scored two minutes before the break for Crusaders to send the away support into a frenzy. The second half started brightly for Crusaders and the game became an edgy and exciting match. Both sides had chances and indeed Crusaders could have doubled their lead near the end but the Glenavon keeper did well. On the whistle Crusaders celebrated a big win but will now turn attention to the small matter of a North Belfast Derby in the Irish Cup next Saturday.
