Crusaders Football Family have been rocked by a second supporters passing in a week after we learnt of the sad passing of Crusaders member Roy Bunting at the weekend. Roy and his wife Gillian attended games together home and away and they would also attend with members of their family at Seaview and around the country. Roy was a well known and popular character behind the nets at the Railway End of the ground and would be in the middle of all goal celebrations when Crusaders scored.
Crusaders Chairman Ronnie Millar on hearing of Roys passing said “We are truly saddened to hear that Roy Bunting has sadly passed. Roy will indeed be missed at Seaview and in our travelling support also. He was another true supporter of this Club who has been taken from his loved ones far too early in their lives. To his wife Gillian, his son and daughters and the extended Bunting and Bruce families can I on behalf of the Crusaders Board, Management, Players and Supporters offer sincere condolences and sympathies to you all at this time. Can I ask that we keep all of Roys family in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time and in the weeks ahead"
At Rest.
