Crusaders FC are delighted to announce that Hummel have invested in our full time Football Academy.
The partnership will see the Academy renamed to the Hummel Crusaders Football Academy.
The two year academy programme allows boys & girls to leave school or Belfast Metropolitan College with A-Levels or BTEC qualifications in Business, Events Management, Sport or Creative Media while fulfilling their aspirations of becoming full time Professional Footballers.
The scholars receive 12 hours additional coaching each week which includes Strength & Conditioning and nutrition. Our academy staff team of Declan Caddell, Jonny Tuffey and Gary McIlwaine will ensure that the participants get the very best of coaching to assist on their journey with additional support to help with their educational needs.
The investment from Hummel allows our Academy staff to plan ahead for the growth of the programme with a series of taster sessions arranged for the Halloween midterm break at Seaview.
The taster sessions are open to students currently in Year 12 who may be interested in participating on our 2023/24 Academy Programme.
