Crusaders supporter Angela McKibbin has asked us to promote her charity walk for Epilepsy Action and has sent her own personal message on her plans for walking throughout May. Hopefully you will dig deep and support a lady who has battled this terrible illness and has thankfully beaten it.
As most people know I suffered from epilepsy most of my life and went through my 2nd brain operation in May 2019 to try and limit the number of seizures or better still, stop them.
On 7th May I will be 3 years (1095 days) Seizure FREE and to celebrate this I have decided to do a sponsored walk, 109.5 miles throughout May and all proceeds will go towards Epilepsy Action.
Being a massive Crusaders supporter my walk will be starting on 7th May, Irish Cup Final day and I will be walking from Seaview to Windsor Park with my good friend Ruth, a Ballymena supporter
If anyone would like to make a donation, no matter how big or small, this would be greatly appreciated. All donations can be made by clicking on the following link – www.justgiving.com/Angela-McKibbin2
With your support this means that Epilepsy Action can give the people the help they need to control their seizures and hopefully one day, just like me stop them.
Thank you
Angela
